Adidas is continuing to produce sneakers for men and women that are apart of their collaboration with Goodyear. The women’s shoes seen above are a redesign of the original Adidas Racer, which was their most popular driving shoe. This new version supposedly provides more comfort and a better fit.
While some of the features on the shoe have the characteristics of a race car, such as the racing rubber on the sides and the rear windows on the heel, many shoe critics are not racing to buy them. Personally they look OK to me, but for those of you who want a comfortable casual shoe…. I am not sure if this the shoe you want. They are available in most stores for less than $70. or the Porshe style which is only for men as far as i found , love them.
I have a pair that I bought about two to three years ago. They do not look like the ones above. When I buy a shoe…driving my car is always on my mind. I went to Foot Locker looking for a pair of shoes that were flexible, after being shown several shoes the salesman thought were flexible he finally showed me the Adidas Goodyear Racers. They were white, the three stripes were a mint green. All though the shoe looks pretty funny with a lot of my clothes due to its close fit…I love them and could care less about the fashion statement. I am searching for my next pair right now!
I bought a pair of white on white adidas goodyears with the window in the back a few years ago.. I want a new pair and i cant find them anymore… Its frustrating because they are THE MOST COMFORTABLE pair of shoes i have ever owned… I love them, they match every casual outfit i own… I’ve been looking for another pair of just plain white shoe and i cant find anything i like….
I bought a pair in 2006 and then another in 2008 and desperately want another pair now. I can’t find them anywhere and have even searched eBay. The pair from 2006 was the most comfortable shoe I have ever bought. I like the European style shoe instead of the skater type etnies style shoe. Anyone know where I can find some goodyear shoes?
