The designer behind Sole Brother Customs dropped a line to tell us about his latest work, the Miami/Amsterdam Adidas Stan Smiths. These customs were made for a client who moved from Amsterdam to Miami recently and wanted to celebrate these two cities. The right shoe celebrates the warm weather, unique foliage and stunning skyline of Miami. The exterior side captures a line of palm trees along with the afternoon sun peaking through the leaves. Sole Brother portrayed the metro skyline of Miami from the Atlantic Ocean on the right interior side.
The left shoe shows what Sole Brother’s client was leaving behind in Amsterdam. Sole Brother used the exterior side to create a row of houses that could be taken from any street in the city. The interior side represents the windmills spread throughout the Netherlands.
