Tekneek Custom Sneakers has been busy in 2009 putting out some hot customs themed after the Buffalo Bandits and Sesame Street. The American Flag Air Force Ones move away from these more trivial themes to celebrate America’s iconic imagery and colors. I found these photos at Tekneek Custom’s Facebook page linked here.
The designer started by painting the toes and eyelets blue and the toe box red for a solid base. Tekneek got more elaborate by the middle panel with white stripes separated by thin red lines. The white Nike swoosh cuts a majestic path over the red/white stripes as it heads toward the heel.
Tekneek applied a blue triangle backdrop to the heel with a large white star stationed in the center. The interior sides of the American Flag Air Force Ones are painted solid red to contrast the white/red stripes on the outside. Tekneek shows a great eye for balanced design while honoring the red, white and blue of the American flag on these custom Air Force Ones. While the American Flag Air Force Ones are one-of-a-kind, you can get your own customs from Tekneek Custom Sneakers by emailing tekneekcustoms@yahoo.com.
