Nike is paying tribute to two of the biggest cities in the East Side (Chicago and New York City) by redesigning the Blazer High Premium to represent the two cities. One pair features a black leather upper with red stitching by the heel, toe cap, and crisscrossing the tongue. The word “Chicago” in cursive similar to the old Chicago Bulls uniform is shown on the heel panel. It has a white sole with black on the toe.
The other pair represents the Big Apple. It’s made with blue suede upper with white accents. The acronym NYC is stitched on the side panel under the white swoosh. The eyestay is printed with white stripes and adorn with white laces. The tongue is labeled with the words “Big Homie NYC” stitched to it. Perfect for the yankee fans! These pairs were released this weekend along with the Nike Blazer “Long Beach City” which was made as a tribute to the Doggy Doggs hometown.
