A designer going by Sprigan82 showed the Kidrobot Air Max Ones at the Nike Talk post linked here. These custom sneakers may look simple with a black backdrop running from heel to toe. Sprigan82 used the gold sole and the black abyss to highlight precise design elements rather than throwing out crazy designs.
The gold sole is extended to the tongue as well as the space between the toe box and the eyelets. A sparkly golden tongue stand out immediately when looking at these sneakers. The small islands of gold amidst the black ocean show that the designer has found the balance between glitz and bland worksmanship.
The Kidrobot Air Max Ones feature an interior lining with pink that doesn’t seem out of place with the overall design. Sprigan82 applied a pink border to the Nike swoosh and laced these sneakers up with pink laces to add another layer of color. I am impressed by the designer’s ability to make something so multifaceted look simple.

These are based on the Barney’s issued Kid Robot Nike Air Max shoe.
These aren’t the kidrobots. The Kidrobots have their symbol on the back, and the tongue is pink not gold
