The Nike Zoom Soldier IV seems to be less designed for the Soldier and more for the citizens. This secondary shoe from James Lebron consists of a continuous white base encircling the perforated shiny leather mid-panels. And these mid panels are accompanied with a matching outer sole and inner lining. The mesh-styled tongue is also inscribed with the mid-sole matching brand tag. One may think, whether the Nike swooshed mid-foot strap are needed when the white laces are already doing the job. But these Flywire made straps have more of a practical purpose providing an all round support and fitting.
The purple and royal blue colorways look decent on the white base. Zoom Technology is being put to application in the fore-foot supported with a Max Air sole. In deviation from the previous Zoom Soldier III, this Soldier has become the first one to use Air bag. The single strap lockdown takes it further away from the two trap predecessor. The Soldier IV is a perfect fit if you want to get out and get physical. The neat and clear-cut looks are really sexy. One feels that the striking Nike swoosh on the inner heel counter should have floated on the outside. Major design has evolved from the previous same series of Lebrons. The slanting collar and the strong hold can be considered as more of soldierly features. The SOLDIER 4 insignia on he lace panel is also a ready eye catcher.
