A young designer named Alejandro Giraldo created these Air Force Ones for a Nike design project in his home country of Colombia. These custom sneakers were designed for a fashion fair in Colombia called Colombiamoda that showcased the best and brightest designers in the country. A peak at Alejandro’s work should convince most readers that he is a rising star in the customizing world.
The red/black colorway used by Alejandro plays well with the theme of life after death. There are skulls and bones painted all over the shoes including a happy skull on the left outer heel that looks like its ready to party. Alejandro used the inside of the left shoe to write out the words “Viva la Nike” in big white letters to celebrate his favorite shoe company.

That’s interesting. In 2005 a friend of mine in Barcelona was invited to produce a nike protoype. This pair is in the same direction as hers, but the graphics on the prototype were better than what is shown here.
