Reebok’s Pump collection started back in 1989, and yes, to commemorate 20 years, they came up with a very striking rendition this time around. If you are wondering how it all began, or if you were too young or perhaps not yet around when the Pump fever started, well just a bit of info, The Reebok Pump was initially designed as a high top basketball shoe. It was rather pricey in contrast with other athletic footwear at that time, so it became a big hit, as having a Pump pair was some sort of a status symbol.
To celebrate 20 years, the newest addition to the Pump line comes with a special dog tag marked with the number 20, very striking colorways of neon/black/red, which by the way, is also the same colorways the grandfather Pump was made of.
