Adidas had a lot of exciting releases in 2008. In 2009, it looks like it will continue as this Adidas Consortium Spring/Summer collection features some very interesting kicks. If you like what you see, you can find the sneakers in this pack over at retailers such as VA.

Virtually all of the kicks in the collection stand out for one reason or another. Perhaps the shoe that stands out the most are the striped Stan Smiths. The black stripes on top of a red, white and blue colorway really works well. The Micropacers also feature a very unique look. With all the textures and patterns at work in all these shoes, they have a very “busy” feel.

The look of these kicks is extremely blingy. Adidas went out if its way to add shine and sparkle to this release. Multiple shades and textures of metallic silver are used, in addition to electric blue stripes. Red is also used along the side and on the sole of the shoe.
