However, what happens when these two designs combine with each other?  That is what Adidas has done in their collection Adidas Superstar II Chrome/Cardinal-Navy. In this version, they have combined colorway combination quiet beautifully with the classic appeal of their Superstar model. Without having to try anything out of the box, they maintained the basics of the Superstar version.  The innovation they made in the design is the Chrome/Cardinal-Navy design, and this design has perfectly fitted with the classic version. Just like the Superstar version, here also they have used leather for the upper part, and Navy type stitches give the right durability for the shoe to prevent wear and tear. You will get the original Adidas feel as well when you will find their signature toe design in the form of shell, right at the back of the shoe.

Basketball players are not the only ones who are entitled to wear the classics of Adidas. Remember Run DMC, a group of rappers during the 80′s? They were seen sporting the Adidas Superstar on their music videos without the laces on and exaggeratedly sticking out the shoe’s tongue which by the way became a fashion among hip and trying-to-be hip peeps that time.

Now if you want to walk this way (or that way) you might want to don the revamped Adidas Superstar which was called by the JBF Customs as the Refresh STR. The abbreviation actually stands for Shell Toe Reconstruction and you can find it at the tip of the shoe.

Suedes, leather, and velvet are the materials used in creating subtle and clean shoe from the big A. Soles, shell toe as well as the laces remain in pure white while the rest of the STR is in black and bluegreen colorway.

Adidas celebrates its ‘Diamond’ anniversary (60th). Adidas sure knows how to celebrate in style with the release of its exclusive very upscale version of its classic sneaker design- the diamond-studded pair of Superstar ‘Diamond Pack’ It’s made with fine leather & is adorned with six 0.2K diamonds on each shoe. Three brilliant diamonds are set into each of the spaces in between the traditional black Adidas stripes. That totals six 0.02-carat diamonds per sneaker.

Swarovski crystals give sparkle to the lace tip and lace locks, as well as creating an impressive Adidas lhttp://www.myairshoes.com/wp-admin/post-new.php#edit_timestampogo at the base of each shoe’s tongue. The sneakers also come with a chain so the owner can wear the logo as a pendant if he so chooses. As you might know 2009 will mark Adidas’ 60th anniversary. To celebrate, they have created some very special sneakers. In high-end style, they are releasing the “Diamond” pack featuring the Adidas classic, Superstar model.

This sneaker comes in a classic white and black colorway with lots of luxurious touches. On each shoe you will find six 0.2 carat diamonds in between the black stripes on the outer side.

Additionally, there are adornments embellished with Swarovski crystals used to accent the lace locks and tongues. These ornaments can be removed and actually worn as pendants. These shoes are expected to be released at Adidas Originals retailers in Taiwan along with special editor T-shirts. These shoes will cost you a pretty penny at about $721 USD ($24,000 TWD). As they have done previously, Adidas has made another shoe using an event or festival from a specific country. This time, China’s Qing Ming Festival is the central theme in this shoe. These kicks are another in the line of Adidas’ Flavor of the Month.

Qing Ming means “clear and bright”. In April, they enjoy springtime and tend to the graves of departed ones. As it is very windy, kite flying is a very popular tradition as well.

While these are surely not athletic shoes, the detail and color scheme make a very nice looking shoe. Most of the colors used are in the red family (fire engine red, maroon, pink). The shoes are also produced with a vintage look – intentionally aged by using an off white as a base color. If you are of Chinese heritage or you want to celebrate the Qing Ming Festival, considering copping a pair of these kicks.
