New Nike 112 Pack

New Nike 112

It was last summer when the Nike 112 pack was released. Consists of the classic Air Force 1, Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 all designed by no other than DJ Clark Kent. The name 112 was of course inspired by Brooklyn where this pack pays homage. Now 2 other classic sneaks will be joining the Nike 112 pack. The Air Force 25 and Nike Hyperdunk. The pack is popular for the Elephant print and 3M materials. Mostly in the shades of Grey, Black and Lime Green. Rumors say that the additional 2 will only be released in Asia. But who knows? Better watch out.

Luxury Sneakers Vol. 2- 24k Gold Custom Air Force One

24K Gold Air Force One

This is an example of how great love can make a man do extraordinary things for his wife. These custom made Gold sneakers from Sole Bro were given as a special gift of a husband to his loving wife. The shoes had the name & initials of his wife, with golden Swooshes and swirling flourishes. These were meticulously gilded in genuine 24 karat gold to produce the perfect gift for her birthday. A stylized emblem was created from her initials (R.R.) and gilded in place at the rear of the shoe; her first name was placed on the other side. Golden laces were used to accent the design. To the hopeless romantics out there, how far would you go to express your love to your special someone?

Nike Huarache Air Force 1 Purple/Black

Source of image: here.

The Nike Huarache Air Force 1 is a celebration of the Huarache and Air Force 1 in a number of ways. The ACG celebrates their 20th anniversary in 2009. This shoe is one of their commemorative designs to celebrate their long milestone in history. Please look for this shoe in the Nike website.

This Nike Huarache Air Force One has a black suede toe box. It has regularly spaced perforations. The mudguard is of the same color suede. The shoe lace region is entirely purple, with a nice lace lock at the start of the lace. The black toe box becomes an outstanding accent. To add interest, the Nike swoosh is in white and this is an obvious contrast on the shoe upper.

The tip of the tongue has a black and white Huarache logo. The combination of the black and white colors attempts to show the close association of Nike and Huarache. The outsole is transparent on the outermost layer. This shows through to the pink colored layer of the outsole. There is a grid of purple lines to add details to the design.

This hybrid shoe has been designed to provide comfort. It has tried to improve upon the older models of the Air Force One shoes.

Nike 1World “Marok” Air Force 1

Source of image: here.

This is the Nike 1World “Marok” Air Force 1. The artist who designed this lives in Berlin, Germany. The shoe upper has high quality leathers. The dark grey areas are synthetic materials. The artist’s signature is on the lace lock and inner sole. This shoe will drop on Dec. 13 at Nort Berlin.

The light grey toe box has perforations. The surrounding mudguard is smooth and a quality leather. This same material is used for the midsection of the shoe that extends to the heel. The center of the midsection is a lighter grey, synthetic material. The Nike swoosh is made of the same type of material and it looks embedded in the upper. The shoe lace holes are done on panels of light grey. The white lace is a good contrast against the black tongue. Black and white coordinates well for this section. The inner lining of the shoe is grey.

The inner sole is orange with some designs to accompany the artist’s signature. It is good that the artist has reserved the most striking orange to the inner sole.

The quality lace lock at the start of the shoe lace looks like an ornament as its silver colored buckle gives it a grand look.

Michael Lau x Nike Air Crazy Force 1 “Psychiatric Ward”

Source of image : here.

Michael Lau and Nike have collaborated together to create the “Psychiatric Ward”. This is the Nike Air Crazy Force 1 sneaker and toy. The shoe uses the Air Force 1 comes as a quilted upper. It has some laser customizations. The quilted lattice is special as at joint of every square, there is an extra design, like a lock, at the joint.

The white shoe lace leads the way up to the tip of the tongue, which shows a number in gold colored paint. That is supposed to be the number of the psychiatric ward. The heel of the shoe has some stencilled lines to indicate the counting of days. Supposedly, in a psychiatric ward or prison, where there are no calendars, the inmates used the bunches of five lines to count away the days. The white midsole and outsole complete the look of the shoe.

The toy that comes with the shoe is a statue of a psychiatric ward patient. The statue has cunning eyes, seemingly trying to cook up a scheme to get free of the strait jacket. The toy comes in white and an extra color black for its hair. This Michael Lau & Nike Air Crazy Force One Pack will be released during the weekend of November 22-23.

Custom Nike Air Force One “Arctic”

Here is a custom sneaker from the Sekure D lab. This is the Nike Air Force One “Arctic” which was a special order done for a customer. Dipping into this his amazing graffiti talent Sekure D covered majority of the Air Force One in a white, blue and black graffiti design which is always a sight to see. The mid panel was done in a simple black and the Nike Swoosh was finished in blue and black whereas the blue is over the black mid panel and as it goes off towards the heel it jumps to black over the graffiti design.

I like the way that way done and how the colors were swapped to break everything up, it catches the eye. Sadly these are not for sale since they were a special order but you can rest assure Sekure D will be back soon with something new and exciting to add to the online store. be sure to visit the Sekure D website to purchase some of his previous custom sneakers which are still available.

Death Seeker Air Force Ones from SBTG

sbtgxphu1.jpg

The premiere of the Death Seeker Air Force Ones from SBTG on March 30, 2008 has been billed as the next big thing in the custom sneaker world. This proclamation may come from SBTG via Nike Talk but the Death Seekers posted above and below look like they live up to the hype. SBTG has created eight pairs of the Death Seekers to be pitted against Phu! and their Phantom Mirage Air Max 90s (featured tomorrow).

SBTG used a World War II-era fighter as inspiration for its limited run of Death Seekers. You can see the fearsome shark’s teeth running the full width of each toe box in the picture below. The P77 logo shown on the heel is reminiscent of the call letters used on older fighters. The bullet silver paint used to bring these Air Force Ones back to the future is an awesome touch.

I love the camo print used on the Nike swoosh as well as the dog tags added to the shoe strings. SBTG is not giving away the Death Seekers at $500 USD but sneaker fans who have socked away some money should consider these shoes a worthwhile and once in a lifetime investment.
