I would not be surprised to know that every sneaker head reader of this post has a pair of two of Converse’s Chuck Taylor. It’s been staple footwear since the first time that I got aware of shoe fashion and until this day. The good thing with this Converse silhouette is that it never fails to bring amazement to its prospect buyers and for sure, you will like its new sneaker. Another wearable shoe for the Converse Chuck Taylor is not in canvas but in leather material with moccasin strands. Have a glance with the picture. Just like the (Product) RED “Thriller” shoe, this is quite experimental with its overall look but very captivating. This Moccasin version will give you a break of the classic Chuck with its black leather uppers, classic vulcanized sole and moccasin strands that hang perfectly from the collar. Though it has no definite release date yet, this one is a must-see and must-have type of a sneaker.

John Varvatos’ collaboration with Converse since 2006 again has come up with something very fashionable. The Converse looks something like the Chuck Taylor that has been classed with the High and Low versions. The shoes were made with two colorways, Black and Brown leather basket weave uppers and White midsoles. Varvatos’ design in here shows his early obsession with rock n roll and as passionate designer. Converse Japan Converse Japan presents their July 2009 releases. The Chuck Taylor, Converse’s signature model, will be available in lots of new colorways, materials and designs. Designs to watch out for are the Jack Purcell line-up including simple polka dot looks and nicely worn-in styles, both in canvas.

We are so used to seeing the classic Chuck Taylor in canvas, that the Leather Pack offers a very different look. Here is the navy leather version of the Converse Chuck Taylor.

The colorway is very simple, yet still special. Navy is a nice change of pace compared to black. You can get these kicks right now at UNDFTD in both the high and low versions. I don’t like the Low at all, but the Hi isn’t bad. Via High Snobiety.

Converse has hooked up with Australia’s biggest outdoor music festival – Big Day Out – to create this limited edition Chuck Taylor Low. These shoes feature a white upper that is accented with the Big Day Out logo.

These sneakers will be released to Australian retailers only and Converse has randomly placed 50 “golden tickets” to the festival inside the shoe boxes. Expect the Big Day Out Chuck Taylor to be released in early December. Via Sneaker Freaker.

The Converse 1HUND(RED) series continues and this time they have hooked up with Dutch brand Wood Wood on the Chuck Taylor. These shoes have a monochromatic appeal using a combination of canvas and suede.

These sneakers are accented by red eyelets, custom tagging and a Wood Wood star map pattern on the inner lining. If you like a simple look, this Chuck Taylor is a great choice for fall. These shoes are expected to release at select accounts on October 1st. Via SlamXHype.

It seems like everyone in the United States has already seen The Dark Knight judging by last weekend’s box office sales. I found a pair of Chuck Taylor customs that make my wait for The Dark Knight easier to handle. Sweatshop Clothing has created a special pair of these familiar canvas kicks based on Heath Ledger’s character, The Joker.

The ominous phrase “Why so serious?” that appears in the trailer and promotional materials is written in red paint just above the outsole. An outstanding image of Ledger’s deranged Joker is placed just below the collars on both shoes. Sweatshop Clothing took great care to make Ledger’s likeness realistic to capture The Joker’s ability to terrorize without making a move.

The designer completed the Joker effect by adding spades, jacks, hearts and diamonds similar to the joker card that inspired Ledger’s character. I cannot wait to see this movie now that I have seen such a great representation by Sweatshop Clothing.
