Air Jordan VI Retro – Detroit Pistons

Here we see another Air Jordan VI model that is releasing in 2010. This Jordan model is dubbed “Detroit Pistons” because of the red and blue colorway. The sneaker features a upper constructed in black patent leather and suede. Blue is seen on the inner lining and part of the sole while red is placed on the midsole. The rest of the midsole is in silver and grey. The shoe is finished off with a clear icy outsole. These are one of the more unique pairs of VIs we will see. No release date yet but MarqueeSole has a few pairs in stock so hurry!

Air Jordan 60+ Detroit Pistons

This Air Jordan 60+ pair is inspired by the Detroit Pistons. It is to commemorate Jordans 61 point effort against Detroit on March 4th, 1987. The shoe comes in an all black nubuck upper, with some patent areas. The Detroit colors are seen throughout the shoe, for example in the tongue, the mid sole, and in the blue stitching. Look for these at Jordan retailers this December.

For all the fans of the Detroit Pistons and Rip Hamilton, check out the Air Jordan II (2) – Richard Hamilton Player Exclusive (PE).

Matching the red, white and blue colors used on the Pistons jerseys, this is a simple colorway that features “RIP CITY” on the ankle. Most PEs are hard to find but you can cop these right now on ebay. Current bid is $900. Via Sneaker Files.

Nike Air Force 1 High Supreme Sheed – Black/Black

A few days, we told you about the red and black version of the Nike Air Force 1 High Supreme Sheed and now here’s the black on black version. This monochromatic look is certain to be popular. This sneaker, which has the silhouette of Detroit Piston Rasheed Wallace on the side, has a red sole and blue on the tongue tab. Other than that, these shoes are all black.

There is also a third colorway which is white and royal blue (see pictures after the jump). The white edition is nice, but I think this black colorway will get a lot of attention. Currently, Rasheed and his Pistons are down 2-1 to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Look for these shoes at Nike retailers soon or right now on ebay.

With only the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs still alive in the NBA playoffs, basketball season is starting to become must-see TV. One of the most controversial and beloved players still playing right now is Rasheed Wallace of the Pistons. Wallace wears his emotions on his sleeve and has become a fan favorite in Detroit.

If you are a Rasheed fan, check out these new red and black Air Force 1s. These shoes are Rasheed’s signature kicks and they feature a silhouette of him on the sides. While the color scheme is red and black, there are a few shades of black at work. The shiny black Nike swoosh really stands out, as does the air pockets around the back of the shoe.
