DJ Clark Kent’s Top 10 Sneakers of 2010

We reached the half way point of 2010 just two weeks ago, so many are probably arguing the best sneakers 0f 2010 so far. Well DJ Clark Kent has been doing the same as he has narrowed the best sneakers of 2010 to only 10. The reason I said only is because there has been so many great sneakers in 2010 so far, and it’s really hard to bring it to 10. But if anybody could bring it down to 10, it would have to be DJ Clark Kent. DJ Clark Kent has been heavily involved with the sneaker industry for years, so he knows his Jordan’s and Nikes. Check out DJ Clark Kent’s top 10 sneakers of 2010 so far at Complex.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by PPG for DJ Clark Kent

DJ Clark Kent is no stranger to Nike Air Force 1s. He has had his share of some of the best Air Force 1s we have seen. However, here we have a Air Force 1s that could be one of the finest Air Force 1s that is dubbed for DJ Clark Kent. This Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 was designed by Kevin Hunter aka “PPG” and was given to DJ Clark Kent as a gift. I wish i got gifts like this.

At the first look, you can spot some sick colors and even better materials that were used for this design. Aqua suede is seen on toe box, side panels and on the tongue tag. Blue suede is also placed on the inner lining. When’s the last time you saw a sneaker with suede placed on the inner liner? PPG decided to use black snakeskin on the Nike Swoosh, toe and areas of the midfoot. Red leather jumps right onto the tongue and heel panel, while the midsole comes in clean white. This absolute beauty is finished off with a bright aqua outsole. There is truly one of the best looking Air Force 1s i have even see. Just a true masterpiece. Check out many more images after the jump.

Nike Air Force 1 feat. DJ Clark Kent “Rival Pack”

Nike-AF1-East-vs-West-Rivalry-Pack-East-01-1

Nike’s ongoing Rival Pack collection has got some personalities excited and decided to join in on the fray. DJ Clark Kent, who has worked previously with Nike for other collections came up with these yummy brownies. Featuring a nice chocolate leather for parts of the upper and the Nike logo Swoosh; textured caramel ostrich on the  back upper and throwing in a bit of suede and mesh, Kent was certainly unstoppable with textures on this set.  The brown laces unified the colorway nicely.

Air Force 1 lovers may head on to Shuh-ya for a pair at $177.

DJ Clark Kent x Air Force 25 112 Pack

Source of image: here.

DJ Clark Kent has a new pack of shoes called the 112 Pack. The DJ Clark Kent x Air Force 25 112 Pack is very new and its release is expected in 2009. The Air Force 25 silhouette was designed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Air Force 1. This is a raw copy and there may be changes made before the shoe hits the retailers in 2009.

The website ebay sells similar pairs of shoes from the DJ Clark Kent collections.

The toe box is gold colored. The mudguard becomes a part of the toe box, having the same color and material. The heel portion occupies a large space. The brown lines of the elephant print are fitting for the background in gold. The dark chocolate Nike swoosh is outstanding against the backdrop. The same chocolate is used for the inner lining of the shoe. The yellow shoe lace and midsole coordinate and blend well.

The shoe upper is attached to the midsole by a thick seam in chocolate brown. The chocolate colored dip in the midsole tries to put in a small detail into the midsole. This is a nice design.
