Asics GEL Lyte III Leather Pack

asics gel lyte 3

Of course, you have seen lots from Asics GEL Lyte III. From collaborations and mix of materials, the GEL Lyte III seems like a blank canvas to work on by artists, designers and collaborators. For the first time, Asics will release GEL Lyte III in a single material and in a single color option. The Leather Pack used premium leathers in rich brown and black colors that can match up any outfit for any occasion. Another feature of this sneaker is the contrast stitches throughout the upper part of the shoe. These can now be pre-ordered at Crooked Tongues, these sneakers deserve your second glances.

Asics Gel Lyte III in Black and Yellow

Asics recently released a bumble-bee inspired shoe and is currently available at Schuh You. The Asics Gel Lyte III now has a footwear in Black and Yellow. Though the color is more like a hazard sign, many who have seen it said that its like a shoe candy that you just want to fit right in.

Black is the more dominant color and it is well-accentuated with strong shade of yellow that is scattered all over the parts of the shoe. But it would be dull if these are the only two colors for the sneaker, right? That is why Asics also incorporated gray as well which is located at the shoe’s midsole.

Runners must take advantage of this if they haven’t bought any of the Gel Lyte collections from Asics yet. They will no longer need to wear a sign saying “Hey! I’m a human running, don’t bump me!” just in case they want to jog at the sides of the road.

Get this for only $145!

Asics Gel Lyte III – Summer 2009

asics-gel-lyte-iii-summer-2009-01
The summer release of Asics Gel Lyte combines the classical colors of the design with an innovative form that is exciting and inspirational at the same time. This year the color combinations are bold, the details are creative, and the creation is a proud statement of style and harmony.

Asics has survived many hypes and fads created by its competitors. There has never been a time when this brand failed in the attempt to reform and realign itself in the face of trend changes, and the extravagant color combinations of this pair is another proof of the versatility of Asics.

We love this, and recommend it to you too.

Asics Gel Lyte III – White – Navy – Gold

asics-gel-lyte-3-white-navy-gold-01

The Gel Lyte III is back, and it’s giving a very hard time to the established brands of the scene. This extremely lightweight, swift, and attractive pair comes with an exciting color design that makes it stand out even higher among all the other competing models.

We like this one for its classic creativity. Asics is not a newcomer to this field, but it’s fresher and more vigorous with the passage of every single year. That attitude, that quality is what we seek in our favorite brands.

Available at eBay.  Via 95soleman.

Asics and Alife Rivington Club Combine for Gel Lyte III

rivingtonclub.jpg

The May 2008 debut of a new Asics-Alife Rivington Club collaboration is intended for stylish runners around the world. The two companies will produce a limited run of their Gel Lyte III pack with gray/pink and yellow/blue colorways. I have highlighted the yellow/blue colorway in this post because it shows the pros and cons of the Asics design aesthetic.

I remember when Asics were known as a shoe for sprinters and wrestlers. The shoe company had specialty sports shoes with track spikes and high ankle supports without spending much time on more conventional sneakers. Asics is working with Alife Rivington Club to make their signature running shoe into a premium product. The red “Rivington Club” label on the outside heel of both shoes gives it an elite feeling.

The problem that arises with any pair of Asics Gel Lyte IIIs is that the design is not that attractive. Asics uses unattractive shades like mustard yellow that highlight the distance that needs to be covered for the brand to catch up to its competitors. The Alife Rivington Club collaboration on this new pair of Gel Lyte IIIs highlights the brand’s problems instead of its virtues. This new pack doesn’t offer anything in terms of aesthetics and comfort that couldn’t be found in a less-expensive pair of Asics.
