Based on Converse’s own Weapon silhouette, these new releases from Converse consist of two colorways. It features a hounds tooth print in the uppers and shiny accents that vary depending on the colorway you prefer.  All the elements in this collection have been well-thought and well-placed. The overall look have been unified by the black/white accents of each colorway. Clean and classic, this collection should have no difficulty becoming a hit. Although I think Converse is not handling gold colorway as good as other brands have, the silver/white colorway on the other hand is to die for.

This will be available soon at Converse retailers in Japan for about $125.

To be released in the first week of February, these All Star Hi kicks are a result of a collaboration between Sophnet and Converse. Sophnet, which is a Japanese company celebrating their 10th anniversary, will likely have more information closer to the release date at Soph.net.

The most unique aspect of these kicks is the zipper on the side. Outside of the zipper, the detailed stitching is also quite catchy. Overall, the black and white colorway really adds to the smooth feel of these sneakers. The black canvas and the shape of the shoe makes this release instantly recognizable as Converse All Star Hi’s. London brand You Must Create (YMC) is starting to garner some attention in the shoe scene. Here’s another high top that is sure to get some love. Featuring glossy black patent leather, double velcro straps and a white midsole, the YMC high top is a cool choice.
