The subtle and clear-cut HUF Bridge + HUF 1 – Holiday 2010 Colorways are out on the stores

HUF The HUF was founded by Keith Hufnagel, the professional skater and it came to be admired by the fellow skaters due to its modest apparel and clear graphics. Who would have ever thought that one day, skateboarders would build their own line of sneakers and apparels? And now HUF has released its Holiday 2010 Footwear Collection that has been designed especially for the skaters. The clean and clear-cut colorways that have dropped for the Holiday 2010 season are the High Top HUF 1 and the Low Top HUF Bridge. The HUF Bridge + HUF 1 – Holiday 2010 Colorways are delicate in their monochromes, like the HUF 1, which has a dark grey accent blended with a lighter grey subtle touch.

And HUF Bridge has been given a white ‘H’ on the lateral side over green suede.And for those who want to feel somewhat aggressive or combative the High Top HUF 1 has a strong brown color accented with black on the laces, sole and tongue. These HUF Holiday 2010 Colorways boast one of the most comfortable gum soles out there. The overall colorways to choose from are the HUF1 grey/black/white shades and the HUF Bridge black and green colorways. All the four colorways look exceptionally restrained and refined. HUF Star Collection

We already had a preview of the HUF Footwear Star Collection for the 2010 Fall. Now, we have more information and pictures for your eyes to indulge with. For the first ever HUF Footwear lineup, the sneakers will be having a release in just few months. This San Francisco-based footwear brand was already known for its skate shop and brand. The Star Collection has three silhouettes namely the Hupper, the Choice and the Genuine. The Hupper is the only high sneaker while the two are lows. All of the sneakers have vulcanized sole and decorated with black stars repeating pattern as well as Stars and Stripes through the clear sole that can be found on the underside. For the differences, the Hupper has a canvas built and white linen color, the Choice has the navy blue color while the Genuine comes in black. Which of the three colorways from HUF Star Collection is the best for you?

Converse Skidgrip Hi Feat. Huf for 1HUND(RED)

Two more artists have pledged support to Converse 1HUND(RED) project which aims to raise funds in support of AIDS relief in Africa. HUF designers Keith Hufnagel and Hanni El Khatib came up with a monochrome colorway covered in letter “H” that according to them is attributed to vintage skate graphics and type of the 80s and that the Skidgrip Hi was a ‘great, authentic foundation’.

Also released last October 3rd, it is now available at retail stores worldwide. Converse will contribute a percentage of the sale to the AIDS cause.

Vans 3 Feet High x Huf Chukka

If you like the snakeskin look, check out these kicks from Vans. With an allover snake theme rocking in these Chukkas, you can get a classic black and white shoe with a unique twist.

The black snakeskin texture on the shoe is the aspect that stands out the most. The white is used to outline the black and help it stand out even more. The shoe laces are a black and white mixture with the words “Even snakes are afraid of snakes” printed on the laces.

These shoes are part of the Vans “3 Feet High Series” which features collaborations between Vans and DQM, Kicks/Hi and Huf. This Vans x Huf collaboration is available right now at Huf San Francisco and will drop on Saturday at Huf Los Angeles. Via High Snobiety.

Vans x HUF – Sk8 Hi Satin

Vans x HUF - Sk8 Hi Satin - #1

You don’t often see satin used in these type of shoes, but Keith Huf (Hufnagel) announced recently their latest collaboration with Vans on a set of four satin Sk8 His.

The four colorways are blue, red, silver and black, each with a contrasting stripe color. Though there aren’t many details yet about these shoes, they are expect to release soon.

Satin is normally reserved for sheets and womens sandals, but the Sk8 Hi Satin is sure to please fans of HUF and Vans. Via Sneaker News.
