The Nike Dunk Highs pictured in this post were created by Dezism to honor one of rock’s greatest guitarists. Dezism’s love of Jimi Hendrix is shown in the great detail and care given to these inspired custom sneakers. I am a big fan of the arrangement of colors and words on the Hendrix Dunk Highs.

The use of yellow and burgundy is perfect for depicting the bursts of excitement and chilled energy used by Jimi Hendrix. The guitarist’s name is written in large letters across the toe set against a burgundy backdrop. The remaining space is filled with names of Hendrix’s great songs including “Little Wing,” “Hey Joe” and the debut album title “Are You Experienced?”.

Reebok created the newest version of their Court Victory Pumps with inspiration from Jimi Hendrix’s most popular album – Purple Haze.

This sneaker uses soft suede in a deep purple, constrasted with yellow accents. I’m normally not a big fan of purple shoes, but these are quite appealing.

The other shoe in pack features aqua suede with red accents.
