Jordan l’style

Jordan l’style

Jordan l’style is one odd design in the collection of Jordan Brand, which has been predominantly been a factory producing sneakers meant for performance. This deviation is inspired by Jordan’s liking for motorcycles. Although this sneaker is not meant to conform to everybody’s tastes, but it has created a special image for itself in everybody’s mind. It is clearly meant for those who have a distinct lifestyle.

The burgundy and brown models of the L style failed to receive much attention and attraction, but the black leather dual-strap model received some respect. This lifestyle sneaker was introduced in Asia in fall of 2009 in three colorways. The three colorways are black / neutral grey, dark grey / grand purple / shadow grey and the ginger / dark cinder. There are no laces to be found in this L’Style, but only the straps are there to hold the boot to your feet. One of the Velcro straps is placed on the mid-foot, while the other is around the ankle.

It has a high cut design featured with soft upper, air sole unit, interior lace system and the Jordan logo is marked on the perforated side. The visible air sole unit allows extra air to flow in and hence the design provides ample cushioning to the foot. This feature of Nike air technology is a benchmark in the sneaker industry. It is known for providing the highest level of flexibility, cushioning, sturdiness and comfort, which is very rare to find in any other brand. Available at around $ 135, check your nearest stores.

Air jordan ixs

Air jordan ixs

Air jordan ixs were launched in the year 1993, the year Jordan announced retirement from the NBA. It was the first model that was not worn by Jordan in an NBA game. The shoe was simple and rugged. The sole had many features and the rear portion of the heel counter carried a large ‘23’ mark. The most amazing feature of the Air Jordan is a myriad of sports-oriented words written on the outsole in different languages. This aspect has given it the true identity of a global brand name.

After retirement from the NBA, Michael took to baseball. A cleated version of Air Jordan IXs was launched, which he used during his career with thee Birmingham Barons. The Air Jordan IXs continued to be used in basketball with the numbers on the rear being changed for players like Kendall Gill and Mitch Richmond.

The list of Air Jordan IX series is very long, but the last of the releases from in year 2010 is the colorway in Dark Charcoal. It was originally released in 1994 and has seen a growth of price by $25. Most of the Air Jordans have always received a great hype before their release. But the ‘Charcoal’ 9 has surprisingly been given a low profile by Nike. It is surprising because it can be said to be one of the best looking Air Jordan 9s. The Air Jordan IX black/dark charcoal features black durabuck upper, air sole unit in the sole and forefoot and a poly-urethane mid-sole.

Jordan Rare Air “United We Rise” USA theme

Jordan Rare AirConnected to the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship games, The Jordan Rare Air “United We Rise” sneaker has that Team USA theme written all over it. Be it the Midnight Navy base or the toe, mid-foot and the heels that are armed with prints of Red cement. Even though, the Jordan Rare Air has received a boo from some fans, but acceptance from sports fans and its striking sporty looks have given it an overall thumbs-up. The inclining rear outsole which sits over the air sole unit projects right to the heel midsole and gives the Rare Air a more of a mechanical look. A general look will give an impression that this is the most vivid physical attribute in this sneaker.

The midsole is speckled and gives the sneakers a glowing touch. The Midnight Blue high collars boast a dark red inner lining. The silver tongue is befitted with a big Jordan insignia, which in fact completes its sports status. Midnight Blue is again used in the laces. The Rare Air is available with a few color options in the mid-sole.  The “United We Rise” pseudonym is more of a spirit building tag, but the machine-like mid-sole looks blend with the front-bending heel counter to give a mild sense of a fighter aircraft. The white outer sole completes the exotic impression of the Jordan Rare Air “United We Rise”.

Jordan Rare Air “United We Rise” is now placed at Jordan accounts to be picked away. You can also pick them up at the House of Loops.

Air Jordan Pro Strong – White/Black/Varsity Red

The Air Jordan Pro Strong is one of my favorite team Jordan’s. Overall, I just love the design and the colorways have been mostly great since its debut. Most people feel the same way I do. With it borrowing its design from the Air Jordan 13, it was bound for success as a team Jordan. Well if you basketball players out there need a new basketball sneaker, you’re in luck as a new colorway of the Air Jordan Pro Strong has surfaced. This latest Air Jordan Pro Strong comes in a White/Black/Varsity Red colorway.

This Air Jordan Pro Strong sports a Bulls like colorway. White covers the entire quarter panel, outsole and the bottom of the tongue. Black is put into use on the toe box, mudguard, heel, inner lining, tongue, shoe laces and areas of the outsole. Varsity Red accents appear on the piping, tongue and other minor areas around the sneaker. I already said that I really like the Air Jordan Pro Strong. What do you think of this latest colorway? Release Reminder – Air Jordan VII Retro – “For the Love of the Game”

The World Basketball Festival has caused major mayhem the last couple of weeks. The biggest thing that came from the World Basketball Festival is the “For the Love of the Game” pack, which we have seen plenty of. The “For the Love of the Game” pack features some nice kicks, but none more anticipated than this Air Jordan VII Retro “For the Love of the Game”. This isn’t just any ordinary colorway, it’s an original colorway. The biggest change between this year’s retro and OGs is the “For the Love of the Game” logo which is seen on the heel area. Silver is seen on the lace panels, while red accents jump onto the inner lining and outsole. Navy blue and gold accents are also used and appear throughout the design. These will release tomorrow, August 13th, 2010, at select retailers for $150. Are you going to pick up a pair? Check out detailed images after the jump to get a better look.
