A couple of days ago, we got a look at Drake rocking the white infrareds from the Air Jordan VI Retro Infrared Pack. Well here we see another hip-hop artist rocking a pair from the infrared pack. Kanye West is seen here at JFK International Airport in New York in the black infrareds. There’s no doubt that people like the white infrareds much better than the black infrareds. Well Kanye West is known for expressing his opinion no matter what, and he shows us that he has a great taste for sneakers. Kanye West is well known throughout the sneaker community. With him really creating the Nike Air Yeezy, he’s one of the most important figures in the shoe game now. A couple of weeks ago, Kanye West was spotted in the Air Jordan Spiz’ike “Fresh Since 85″. That sneaker sighting was a bit surprising to me, with me expecting much more heat from Kanye West. Well with this latest Kanye West sneaker sighting, we all know that Kanye digs Spiz’ikes. Recently, Kanye West, Common, and Lupe Fiasco made an appearance at an event at Buca di Beppo Chicago. A couple of days ago, we got a look at Wales 50 favorite sneakers. Including Wale, many rap and hip-hop artist have changed the sneaker community tremendously. But no rapper has had a bigger impact than Kanye West himself. Kanye has always been noted for his love of kicks. His collections with Louis Vuitton and the Nike Air Yeezy have made him a huge icon in the sneaker community. Well here we spot Kanye West in a pair of Air Jordan Spiz’ike “Fresh Since 85″. Kanye was rocking these last week in Houston on a little shopping spree. Even though this isn’t a major sneaker, you always have to keep your eyes on Kanye. PARIS — Marc Jacobs and the Louis Vuitton men’s studio director Paul Helbers have some design competition this season. Kanye West, who was sitting front row at the Vuitton show, has designed a line of five LV sneakers. Only one design, above, was featured in the show — a monochromatic midtop with no frills, save for a quilted flap in the back, all the easier to tuck pants into.

“The inspiration came from a jacket with a huge collar in the movie ‘Dune,’ ” West says. “Most sneakers focus on the tongue, so I wanted to do something different.” West knows whereof he speaks: he says he has no idea how many shoes he owns, but he does know that he routinely needs to send shipments off to storage.

The Louis Vuiltton-Kanye West shoes will be available at Louis Vuitton stores in June 2009.

If you are into luxury shoes, you can’t beat this Louis Vuitton boat sneaker designed by Kanye West. Kanye kept it simple and went with an all white color scheme. Although the official price hasn’t been released, these kicks will likely cost more than $400.

At the VH1 Hip Hop Honors Show, Kanye West was wearing a new pair of his collaboration sneakers with Nike – the Air Yeezy. This new colorway features bright red mixed with grey and white. The red is perforated leather, while the grey is suede giving these shoes a very unique look.

There’s no word of a release for the Air Yeezy, but with all the colorways seen on Kanye and his entourage, eventually these kicks should hit the shelves. Via What’s Poppin’.
