For those who don’t know, Kobe Bryant played high school ball at Lower Merion high school. So its only fair that the high school that produced Kobe Bryant gets all the nice Player Exclusives. This Nike Zoom Kobe V is smokin! I’ve been a big fan of the Kobe V since its first release, and by looking at these i just like them a whole lot better.  The shoe comes in the Lower Merion high school team colors. Maroon is used on the midfoot, forefoot, outsole and toe. The Nike Swoosh also uses Maroon. Metallic silver is seen on the toe box, tongue and quarter panel Flywire. Nike has created four pairs of Hyperdunks inspired by NBA superstar Kobe Bryant. The four pairs include a Lower Merion High School PE and a Make History colorway that celebrates his 81 point game, along with a Ronaldinho inspired version and a Italy Milan colorway.

The Lower Merion Aces and Making History versions are available now at Kix-Files. These shoes are priced between $220 and $240. Look for the other two Quickstrike releases very soon.

Making the jump from high school at Lower Merion to the NBA, Kobe went on to become one of the best players in the league. Despite the loss to the Rockets on Sunday, Kobe and his Lakers are still in prime position to make a run at the NBA title this season once his teammates Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum return from injuries.
