New Balance 1500 Operation Desert Storm

Inspired and dedicated to the first ever efforts of the US in the Middle East scene, this New Balance 1500 is to be launched in just a week’s time. Most of the shoes are in desert brown colorway with some liners of combined red, white and blue to signify patriotism. These color combinations are meant to pay respects to the Operation Desert Storm along with the soldiers who were involved in it.

The most exquisite part of it is the desert camo worn by the American soldiers during the nineties which is located just above the noted liner. US has switched to a digital camo like what the rest knows. The upper portions are made in brown shade and suede in tan with a darker shade of brown for the toe box that is perforated. You can check it out in various online stores by May 5.

UNDFTD x New Balance 1500

Of course, you have seen UNDFTD sharing collaborative efforts with famous brands but not all team-ups were highly appreciated. It is a known fact that UNDFTD has been performing very well as with the Gourmet Quattro or the CONVERSE Poor Man’s Weapon. This time, to continue the glory of collaborations, the said brand will be joining the New Balance for another sneaker. A real and strong step for both brands will surely make sneaker heads look forward to. So which one will be having a version for this effort? The New Balance 1500 model will be having the combination of colors and prints for this time. So let’s have a detailed look with the shoe. It maintains the popular earth tone and military theme with a design of camouflage lining but UNDFTD gives twist by having pops of bright red and blue accents. Another feature of this particular shoe is the speckled soles with color that makes the 1500 personalized with a real spice. Stay tuned for the release details, okay?

New Balance 1500 – Fall 2009

Though it will be available Fall 2009, the New Balance 1500 looks like a design  hundreds of years beyond our day. Styled for success, we see in these power beyond what would be expected from any other brand than New Balance.

With its solid black/grey upper and purple or gold mudguards, the cobalt-blue extended toe, and overall a very sturdy and beautiful, yet restrained design, this item is a work of inspiration. And that is to say a lot in today’s sneaker scene, where past models keep getting revamped and recreated, often with great success, but still leaving us seeking something more sometimes.

Who wouldn’t want to own a pair of this wonderful concept? Who wouldn’t crave these on the stores when they show up at last at the stores? Till then we have to thank STREEThing for the pictures.

Almond x New Balance 1500

New Balance really went to work in this collaboration with Almond to produce a colorful yet not overwhelming shoe. Although they used the New Balance 1500 model, it’s the colors that really stand out. It’s not known if or when these sneakers will hit stores in the United States but expect them to be ¥27,300 (Approx. $302 USD).

Both suede and leather are combined to add a bit of texture to the colors, and these sneakers have a white midsole and gum outsole. These shoes aren’t for everyone but if you want to liven up your look, they are a good option. Via Hypebeast.
