Nike, the most renowned sportswear brand of the world prepares to release the new Nike 6.0 BMX Mavrk Low 2. Nike 6.0 is a sub brand of Nike focused on actions sport lifestyle such as surf, skates, snowboard etc while Nike SB covers only the world of skateboarding.

Designs and Features

Like the design of original Mavrk Low, the new Nike 6.0 BMX Mavrk Low 2 also uses a simple suede upper on top of a white vulcanized sole. Nike releases this sneaker in several colorways including beautiful ‘Tiffany’ suede. Red suede and grey suede along with other simple colorways will be also available.

The Nike 6.0 BMX Mavrk Low 2 features ‘Flexi-Wrap’-the latest innovation of Nike. After the creation of Nike Dunk Gyrizo which was a project only for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Nike realized the need of a BMX specified product. In design the Nike 6.0 Mavrk Low 2 is very similar to Nike SB series. To perfect the design of previously released Mavrk Low Nike and Nike 6.0 introduced vulcanized rubber sole with Phylon midsole for shock absorption. Inspired by Nike Free, the introduction of Flexi-Wrap outsole is the most crucial addition. The concept came when designers realized that the action of paddling is similar to that of walking or running. Basically Flexi-Wrap is a sport specific outsole made of eight articulated pieces while each piece can pivot back or forward individually.  The sole will also appear in other Nike 6.0 line such as Mavrk mid-2, Dunk SE and Brazen.

Nike WMNS 6.0 Dunk Low – Daring Red – Sample

I must say, Nike 6.0 has had some pretty fresh pairs since they started. So many people don’t really know about 6.0, which is a huge disappointment considering how nice some of their models are. Well heres a Nike WMNS 6.0 Dunk Low that clearly shows that Nike 6.0 is so fresh and clean. But sadly this pair is a sample, so don’t expect to get your hands on these. This Womens Dunk Low features a full suede upper and a yellowed midsole. The shoe also features the all around vintage look. Other features include A quasi plaid added to the inner lining and a nice dark red outsole. As of now, these are just a sample. But Nike could always change their minds, so stay tuned for updates. Nike 6.0 joined forces with prolific street artist Mark Madsteez to create something fresh and visually groundbreaking. The result is the Nike 6.0 StinkWeen Braata and the colorful collaboration with Poketo wallets. Madsteez teamed up with young artist Evan “Stink” Rossell, and in an all-night, art-fueled brainstorming session, created the character “StinkWeen”—a fusion of Madsteez’s scrappy cartoon self-portrait “Weeneze” and a mischievous alter-ego doodle by Stink.

Available July 24th, the first fifty pairs sold at Jacks and the first 15 pairs at the 6.0 Motel NoTell will include a limited edition Poketo x Nike 6.0 “Madsteez Braata Wallet.” Poketo, an art driven brand that has collaborated with premier artists around the world has partnered with Madsteez to design this wallet featuring madcap illustrations of his StinkWeen character.

Channeling the Madsteez/Stink split personality, the artists made their shoe in two different colors—washing the men’s version in a cool minty green and drenching the women’s in delicious grapey purple.
