CLOT x Nike Air Classic BW – Juice HK Colorway has a mixture of premium material like leather and suede and on the shoe’s outer area of toe you will find a different CLOT logo stamped and on the tongue you will find a roman number VI. There is added contrast to the shoe with the pair of green light laces. The CLOT x Nike Air Classic BW – Juice HK Colorway is designed by HONGKONG-based CLOT. With the collaboration of Clot with Nike this new pair of sneaker design has been introduced. The design has got good reviews and is likely to be very popular.

The contrast of color, especially of green and brown give this pair a completely different look. The contrast of color is the most attracting in this pair of sneakers. The pair was introduced on the sixth anniversary of CLOT. This pair of sneakers is also known as the Air Max IV that was released in 19991 after Air Max 90. Earlier it was the lack of notable color that didn’t let BW to be more popular but this limitation has been wiped away by the Nike Air Classic BW – White – Metallic Silver – Black – Red sneakers.  The BW stands for BIG Window. The new pair of sneaker will grab a lot of attention with its new color scheme at least for a short time span. White synthetic microperforated leather upper along with silver to black gradient mudguard is the main feature of this sneaker.

The Nike Air Classic BW was real popular when it first released in 1991. Well Nike decided to release in the sneaker once again in 2010. But we haven’t seen much of it compared to other Nike sneaker. However, whenever we see the Air Classic BW, we can’t take our eyes off of it. This latest Nike Air Classic BW comes in a White/Beige/Brown colorway.

The sneaker features a colorway we don’t see every day. Most of the sneakers upper is covered with birch while constructed in leather and mesh. First appeared in 1991, the ‘Big Window’ Nike Air Max – also known as the Max ’91 or Max IV – had a tremendous success & had been very popular since then among sneakerheads. And now, they are re-releasing it in a new solid colorway which is more subtle than the celebrated ‘OG’ version but still with an ACG feel to it. The Nike Air Classic BW Blue Sapphire has been re-issued. This shoe was first created in the 1990s. The latest issue has a fresh colorway to keep up with the times. JD Sports sells this shoe for $120. This is a good bargain for a running shoe.

The Nike Air Classic BW starts with a black toe box in fabric. The double layer of mudguard is in black and white. The perimeter of the mud guard forms an interesting border of black and white. The frame of the shoe lace hole is in black leather and it defines the midsection too. The black colored tongue ends with a blue colored tip and blends in with the blue collar at the ankle.

The shoe has a collar at the ankle. The bright blue is a nice accent. The white stripe aligns itself with the white layer of the mud guard. The Nike swoosh runs over the striped mudguard. Nike’s running shoes have thick midsoles and this pair has one with blue accents. The blue strip in the midsole coordinates with the blue colored collar of the shoe. The Nike Air Classic BW will return in Jan. 2009. The website eBay has some ads on these shoes from overseas sellers. This shoe will be officially coming into the US in Jan. 2009. Look for the shoes at Nike website in Jan. 2009.

The toe box is in black canvas. It is boxed in by a black “handle” like frame that forms the panels for the shoe lace holes. A small portion of the lace holes are on a blue colored collar of the ankle. The black shoe lace threaded through the blue collar looks good. The blue accent is seen again in the Nike swoosh and in the midsole. The high midsole of the shoe is extended on the shoe upper by a trick of the design. The blue swoosh and black leather to look fused together as part of the midsole. The midsole carries an image of a lateral inversion of the blue Nike swoosh. The tip of the tongue is blue and the nice blue continues into the inner lining of the shoe.

The outsole has black, blue and white colors. There are rectangle shaped studs in an unusual arrangement. These are rough to provide good grip on the ground. This is a good shoe in a mix of fabric and leather.

In recent years, more and more attention has been shown to the classic Negro League days. The Negro Leagues were where African-American baseball players played before the integration of Major League Baseball. Nike is celebrating the Negro Leagues with this vintage release.

These Nike Air Classic BW sneakers are intentionally aged to go with the old school flavor of the Negro Leagues look. With a colorway centered around maroon and different shades of white, these kicks certainly aren’t flashy but they do have a deep meaning.
