Nike Air Pegasus 89 – Team Royal/Vibrant Yellow

The Nike Air Pegasus 89 is not liked as much as the other Nike classics, but some great colorways have helped out the runner recently. This latest Nike Air Pegasus 89 comes in a Team Royal/Vibrant Yellow colorway. The sneakers upper is constructed of Team Royal suede and mesh, while a hint of italy blue is placed on the midfoot. Vibrant yellow accents are put into use on the Nike swoosh, tongue tag Nike branding, top eyelet, and outsole toe. The sneaker also features Grey and white throughout. Once again Nike comes with a great colorway for the Air Pegasus 89. These are available now overseas, but look for these in the states sometime soon. What do you think?

Nike Air Pegasus 89 Pink/Black

The latest Nike Air Pegasus 89 pink/black colorway will drop into stores on April 1. 21 Mercer Nike Sportswear and other Nike Sportswear retailers will carry this shoe. You can also check the Nike website.

The toe box is white. The surrounding mudguard is grey and it extends to form part of the shoe lace panelling. The first underlying layer of the lace panel is black in color. The shoe lace is bright pink. The inner lining of the shoe is the same color. The double effect of a coordinated lace and lining is good. The label at the tip of the tongue said Nike in black letters. It adheres to the color scheme of black and pink. The midsection of the shoe has an extremely large Nike swoosh. It covers a great deal of the white midsection. The midsole is white and makes a good contrast with the pink outsole. There is a special emphasis on the toe with an extra peach colored pad.

The colors make this shoe look like a women’s shoe. However, the black and white color scheme is also suitable for a wide variety of uses. Some guys may like to try out this fresh colorway too. (Image)

Nike Air Pegasus 89 “Vivid Blue”

This Nike Air Pegasus 89 “Vivid Blue” is a great looking shoe. This is the 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Pegasus 89’s release. The old classic has been “re-released” to pay tribute to an icon in Nike’s history. This sneaker is available at Size website. Each pair goes for £69.99.

The Pegasus was named after a horse with wings in the Greek Mythology. The sneaker attempts to emulate the qualities of a flying horse. The shoe was made to give lightweight capacity and maximum comfort. The OG colorway is light, except for its accents which are blue, black and grey.

The sections of the shoe in mesh are the toe box, tongue and side panels. The bright blue accent around the collar of the ankle is a welcome relief to break the monotony of the grey colored areas. The heel has more of the blue accent. The Nike swoosh is black to bring back the sober tone of the shoe.

The outsole of the shoe is interesting. There are big square and rectangle shaped treads which are black and blue colored. There is a rectangular shaped groove in the center of the outsole. (Images)
