Nike, the most famous sport brand in the world recently released the Nike Dunk SB Mid Black/Orion Blue. The Dunk was first introduced in 1985 and it was then labeled as a basic basketball shoe. But since its reintroduction in 1998, it has become a sub cultural icon and an inspiration for culture, art and fashion. Nike created the Dunk SB series specifically for skateboarders which features an extra padded Zoom Air insole.

Nike released the new Dunk SB in black and Orion blue colorway which is often used in Nike Air Jordan series. The upper of this new release features a predominately black suede with Orion blue attributes on the swoosh, inner lining, outsoles and shoelaces. Nike uses a good combination of all black nubuck suede with Orion blue shades in the upper part of the shoe while the white midsole is used to finish the construction and colorway. The Nike Dunk SB Mid Black/Orion Blue also features a mid-cut construction.

With all that said its time to get it on and get your hands on one of these shoes. They would be selling like hot cake and will certainly not last forever. So, if you were planning on getting one then the magic words are get it fast. It design and feel is will make you want to wear it all the time. It also has the looks that fit perfectly with people of different styles. Once you see it in real, you’ll definitely get it.

Nike SB has made a few changes this year. The biggest change has been made to the mid model, which is now without a strap. Another big change was the comeback of the stuffed tongue on select models. Well the changes are done for now as Nike is ready to give us a preview of its spring 2011 footwear collection. This latest Nike Dunk SB High is named “Fossil”, which comes from the shoes colorway. A color that looks like navy blue appears on the Nike swoosh, toe, lace panels, heel, and the outsole. Grit is seen on the toe box, collar area, mid panel, and the tongue. Nike finishes off the sneaker with a clean white midsole. Look for these to drop in March 2011.

The details included in these Nike Dunk High Premiums are impressive. Called the “Nike Owl”, these kicks are available online at Caliroots for about $125 USD. If you are a fan of cool stitching and details, these sneakers are for you.

Though these shoes use a black base, they stand out with red, green and blue accents. The red is located mostly around the ankle, while the green is used in the stitching all around the shoe — including on the Nike swoosh. A few pictures of the Gore Tex SB dunk leaked during the spring and now thanks to Colmilludo we have a (semi) detailed look at them. Little is known about these but from what we can see in the pictures they feature multi shade grey upper using suede and possibly leather materials. The perforation on the toe box has been removed. No info on release date yet.

This version of the Nike Dunk Mid SB is set to release as part of Nike SB’s August lineup. These shoes, dubbed “Send Help,” feature a blue reef leather upper that is acccented with black suede in the toe box and quarter panels. Grey is also used around the laces, as well as on the heel tab and the strap. It’s a fresh colorway that’s great to finish off the sumer.
