Slap Magazine celebrates 15 years of its publications on skateboarding news. On this special occasion, they have collaborated with Nike SB for a commemorative Abbington shoe. This will be sold at all Nike stores.
The toe box is black. There is a blue border around the toe box to cap it. The Roman letters “XV” give the indication that this is the 15th anniversary shoe. The main colorway of the shoe is black and its accents are blue. The shoe lace is light blue in color. The tongue has a Nike label that is blue. The Nike swoosh on the midsection is outlined in light blue. The midsection on the shoe upper has a diagonal stripe in blue. The black outsole has a Nike swoosh too and it is in the same light blue as the shoe lace. The tread pattern on the outsole looks unique.
The highlight of the shoe is in the insoles. Each insole is printed with tiny squares that show the selected magazine covers from the past 15 years. Slap Magazine fans would be delighted to buy this pair of shoes. Can you imagine carrying 15 years’ worth of memories everywhere you go? If you get bored sitting and waiting somewhere, you might take out your insole and look at each of the tiny magazine covers. The only thing that is missing is a small magnifying glass on a keychain that could be attached to the shoe.
