The Shadow 5000 has two-toned colorways which is in red and blue as well as in aqua/grey combination. The sneakers have quality materials in leather, suede and mesh. The white midsole also complemented the gum bottom of the shoe. Rumors were spreading that the release would be limited in Japan but we’ll keep you updated.

Gearing up for a kinder and more nature-friendly shoe manufacturing, shoe brand Saucony has come up with the Jazz Low Pro Vegan collection. Featuring in four earthy colorways, these sneakers are made of natural hemp woven tightly together. These may not appeal to all but there is an ongoing cause behind this collection and it would do us all well if we contribute. Of course, sneaker fans and vegans would gladly grab a pair of these for themselves. I personally think this is a brilliant innovation to introduce a product like this and show everyone it can be done. I hope bigger names in sneakers would come up with their own collection and in turn, make Mother Nature very happy indeed.

Here is a new pack of sneakers from Saucony that will hit retailers later in the Spring. Using the lifestyle model, the Shadow 6000, they have created a colorful collection dubbed the “Candy” pack.

Using the color schemes of popular candy, such as Reese’s, Snickers and others, they have dressed up these adventurous shoes. The collection will be available at Limiteditions as well as select Saucony retailers.

Earlier in 2008, A.R.C. (Alife Rivington Club) and Saucony came together to create a Shadow 6000 pack. Now they are dropping a few more colorways. If you want a unique running shoe, these kicks are for you.

Both A.R.C. and Saucony are represented on these sneakers. The A.R.C. logo appears on the tongue of the shoe, while the word “Saucony” is located on the heel. Saucony and Solebox are collaborating on this extremely distinctive shoe that is set to come out in late September. Both companies are known for push the envelope so the fact that these sneakers are unique isn’t too surprising.

Combining a variety of colors and textures, the Solebox x Saucony Jazz has a unique appeal. Mesh is used on the sides, as it is in many Saucony shoes, and “solebox” is embossed in orange on the black heel. The Saucony Master Court 3 Hi Top is available right now in three distinct colorways – black/white, green and purple. These shoes feature a mixture of textures, including canvas and patent leather, which create a very interesting look.

The black and white version uses blue on the heel and inner lining. It is the cleanest looking of the three colorways. Saucony is releasing a new pair of trail shoes called the Courageous TR as part of its Summer 2008 line. This new style is available in two colors pictured around this post. Saucony is going out of its way to attract all runners with the exciting, flashy blue/yellow colorway and the understated green/gray colorway.

The rough aesthetics used in designing the Courageous TR is a 180-degree turn from the simple, almost cartoonish appearance of other Saucony styles. The Courageous TR sole features deep grooves and strong treads that are ideal for off-road running. The exaggerated stitching and multi-color shoe laces may take a bit away from the overall aesthetic of the Courageous TR but they are unique when looking at the company’s catalog. Keep your eyes out for the Courageous TR as the summer months approach.
