Nike SB Dunk High QS “Tecate”

Take a look at this Nike SB Dunk High. This SB Dunk High is inspired after Tecate, a Mexican beer. We have seen a couple of beer inspired SB Dunks over the years. The biggest one had to be the “Heineken” Nike SB Dunk, which forced off shelves because it wasn’t approved by Heineken. Well this SB Dunk High isn’t as good as the “Heineken” SB Dunk, but it’s easily the second best beer SB Dunk.

The colorway comes from the design of the Tecate beer can. The first thing you notice is the red, which covers the toe, lace panels, heel and the Nike swoosh. Black leather covers the toe box and collar area, while that same black is seen on the tongue. Clean white is put into use on the inner lining, shoe laces, tongue tag and the midsole. This SB Dunk High also features a metallic gold quarter panel and a light brown outsole. This is a quickstrike release, so you might have to put in a little work if you want a pair. Here we get a look at a Dunk High part of Nike SB August lineup. This Nike SB Dunk High is as simple as a sneaker could get as it comes in a Magnet/Medium Grey colorway. Multiple shades of grey come together on the upper, which is mostly constructed of canvas and suede. Black can be seen on the tongue, midsole and other minor areas around the sneaker. The shoe laces are done up in clean white, while the Nike swoosh is made of grey leather. This Nike SB Dunk High is finished off with a semi translucent outsole. It’s always nice to see a simple colorway on the SB Dunk High. Look for these to drop in the coming days at select Nike SB retailers.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium – French Blue / Black / Yellow – Charlie Brown

Featured here is a pair of Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium’s which are inspired by the popular and iconic cartoon show Charlie Brown. They feature french blue denim up front along with yellow suede at the back end, and also incorporate the traditional Charlie Brown zig-zag design onto the shoe. No word as to whether they will definitely be released, but it is rumored that they are of Nike SB’s Spring 2009 line-up.
