Nike SB Dunk Hi Premium Feat. Todd Bratrud “Brain Wreck”

nike-sb-todd-bratrud-brainwreck

Nike collaborated with designer Todd Bratrud for the release of Nike Skateboarding Dunk Hi Premium dubbed as  “Brain Wreck”. It will be exclusively sold at Familia Skateshop in Minneapolis. A media event will be held on the day of the release, with the usual party and good bags. Speaking of, the good bags will include a skate deck that matches the “Brain Wreck” design.  It just seem tome a huge contradiction to have a name for a collection like “Brain Wreck” and the collection it speaks of just evoke calm, peace and simplicity.

That aside, this features a grey suede colorway with a matching grey Nike logo Swoosh. The words “Brain Wreck” is printed over the heel and pink accents. More details can be seen in the lining and insole.  If you interested in this pair, you better head on to this address:

Familia Skateshop

Nike SB Blazer Premium Presents “Blood Splatter”

Nike-SB-Blazer-Premium-Blood-Splatter

The Nike Team has done good releasing a Halloween-inspired sneakers for its October lineup. Timing is everything and for skateboarders who are fans of Nike’s design innovations, there is no better time to get this pair than soonest. This collection features a white canvas upper splattered with red blood print all over, which obviously was the basis of the label. Off-white panels in the tongue area, white shoelaces, red accents, and a gray suede for Nike logo complete the look. It sits atop a white sole with gray accents in front.  Overall, it’s a clean design though not everyone would agree based on the response in fora and blogs. I guess Nike would only have to see the feedback from the sales.

Nike SB May Releases – Part 3

nike-sb-may-releases-part-3

Surprisingly enough you still haven’t seen all of Nike SB’s sneaker releases for May. Since we showed you what we first thought would be releasing in May we returned a couple days later with a part 2 and now we are here to announce the last of the May releases.

If you remember the Sea Crystal Dunk, you can see why these are called Sea Crystal Mids. They embody the same Ice Green as the Crystals and even have a black swoosh. Releasing along side the Mids is an all black Trainer. The Trainer II uses a mix of materials and some minor light pink accents. The Nike SB May releases should already have begun to hit stores near you.  Via: Poets (more…)

Nike Skateboarding (SB) Fall 2009 Preview

nike-skateboarding-sb-fall-2009-preview

Nike has been releasing a number of exciting new models for the late spring/summer season. Each season has its own joys and wonders, and Nike matches those with new creations from the hands of its designers every year.

But the Nike Skateboarding Fall 2009 is a bit different from this tradition, with the bold touches of the safari print, the solid harmony of its colors, and the confident lines of its design. There’s cold, quiet, yet self-assured sense of achievement behind these Nikes, but that’s hardly surprising, given Nike’s tradition of perfection and supremacy.

There will be more updates, and we’ll bring them to you here at Myairshoes.com. Via CtotheJL.

Eric Dressen x Vans Syndicate – Half Cab “S” Pack

Eric Dressen x Vans Syndicate - Half Cab “S” Pack

Check out these kicks that came to life via a collaboration between Vans Syndicate and former World Street Skateboarding Champion Eric Dressen. This Half Cab S pack features three colorways that are each very laidback and smooth. While these shoes aren’t yet available in stores, you can expect them to hit premium retailers in early March.

The most rustic brown shoe in the pack features a light and dark brown colorway. Another version utilizes multiple shades of grey and black, while the third colorway is a classic black-on-black combination. Each version features a white midsole and thick laces.

These sneakers get inspiration from the classic fedora using felt overlays, ribbon quarter panel, gold leaf custom lettering, and gold satin linings. Via High Snobiety.

Puma Unleashes First Round Skates

pumafirstround_1.jpg

Puma continues to dazzle and amaze its fans in 2008 with a duo of First Round Skates that will fly off shelves soon. These high-top skate shoes feature exaggerated padding on the heel for ankle support as well as a classic skateboarder look. The premium suede used throughout the shoe is soft to the touch and looks great on the board and on the streets. A puffy tongue prevent rubbing on the top part of the wearer’s foot and brings back elements of the sneaker world from the 1980s.

There are two colorways offered in this version of the Puma First Round Skate. I posted the black/red colorway first due to its sleek look and simplicity. The second colorway is blue and white which would be a fantastic consolation prize if the first shoe is not available. These skate shoes continue Puma’s efforts in 2008 to relive the brand’s past while adding new twists to classic looks.
