Nike continues its seemingly unending support for Lebron James with these new sneakers, the Zoom Lebron Soldier 3. Two colorways of the shoe that will release during the summer of 2009 has been seen thus far. The shoes will retail for $110. They have a strap on the front and a throwback feature. At this rate, there may be more Lebron sneakers than Jordan’s in the future. Those $90 million it paid for Lebron sure was worth it for Nike.

Perhaps the biggest day in Chinese history has finally arrived. 8/8/08 Beijing Olympics. Here it is; there’s no denying it. To celebrate the most anticipated event of the year, Nike will release a special pack for the players who are participating in Team USA for the Olympics, the United We Rise Pack – 2008 Beijing Olympics. The shoes that will be in the pack include the Nike Zoom Soldier 2, the Nike Air Force 25 Low, Converse Wade Team Mid and the Nike Hyperdunk. All of the shoes feature a white upper with blue and red accents, true to the colors of the United States. The tattoo-style laser etchings in the shoes take inspiration from anything ranging from American culture, basketball, and the characteristics that make people rise above to the top. The tongue of every shoe in the pack has the United We Rise logo. The United We Rise Hyperdunks have already released today for $150. Don’t miss the other pairs. The Soldier 2s will retail for $150 and the AF25 for $100.

To continue its tradition of releasing China edition Lebron shoes, Nike released a pair of Nike Zoom Lebron Soldier II yesterday in Asia. The release is appropriate since the Beijing Olympics is set to start of in a less than a month.

The shoes feature the traditional red, white and gold that has been associated with the China edition colorways of the Lebron line. However, unlike previous China edition releases, the Soldier II only comes in a regulare orange Nike box.

To those who don’t live in Asia, don’t despair. A few pairs of these China editions are available in reasonable prices on ebay.
