If you love Snoopy, you’ll really enjoy this latest release by Ubiq. The Japanese shoe maker now has two different versions of this Snoopy shoe available – one in color and one in black and white.

Using the Fatima model, the uppers of these kicks are broken into cartoon frames and each square features Snoopy in action. You can also see a few other Peanuts characters within the squares such as Charlie Brown. Overall, the detail on these sneakers is impressive and the artwork is clear. One colorway is a subtle grey scale design, while the other is more colorful.

Ubiq usually offers minimalistic styles but when they hooked up with Japanese graphic designer Jun Watanabe, the result was a vibrant shoe with an artistic flare.

The Fatima gets a makeover in a black upper with various accents in cool colors and prints. These shoes are avaialble now at Flauge and other online retailers. If you are looking for something a little unique, these definitely fit the bill. Via Hypebeast.

Japanese shoe brand UBIQ is releasing some new colorways of their Fatima model. Always a favorite, these makeups feature solid colors and unique perforations.

Using perforated leather throughout in a diamond pattern adds a little flavor to these shoes. Look for them in white, purple and maybe a few other choice solid colors. Expect these at UBIQ retailers soon. Via Hypebeast.

A while back we told you about the Ubiq Fall/Winter 2008 Fatima and now here are four colorways that have been released at Atmos.

The colors ar brown, grey, blue and green. Each feature a suede upper contrasted with a different color lining. The white midsole features a Native-inspired print and the shoes are finished off with white laces. These colorways aren’t bad. Personally I look the brown or the grey for a winter shoe. Japanese brand Ubiq recently released their latest model in the Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The Ilis offers a simple silhouette and comes in white, black or purple. Purple is one of the hottest colors of the season in fashion, so some might really like this shoe.

The laidback shade of gray used in these shoes make it possible to wear these kicks for just about any occasion. Besides the gray throughout the shoe, the gray leather shoelaces are also a very nice touch. White appears in the midsole and a splash of red is visible around the ankles from the inner lining. A few new models of the Ubiq Ilis sneaker have recently been released. The selection includes a leather standard model and a suede low in various colorways. The contrast stitching and single leather stripes are nice accents.

Personally, I’m not a real big fan of the standard model, but the low version is very nice. It’s a versatile sneaker that you can wear with just about anything. The colorways aren’t too bright or loud, but they have some flavor. You can get these now at Chapter World. 14,700 yen ($145 USD) for the Lows and 15,750 yen ($155 USD) for the standard version.

The famous artists Lazy and Darbotz have collaborated to design a custom Ubiq eL. This is a rare edition. Darbotz designed the drawings on the case and the inner sole screen print. Lazy designed the carvings on the strap. This looked like a laser graphic. They can be seen at close range.

The shoe has an all white colorway. The upper is patterned with machine stitching crossing at oblique angles to form diamond shapes. The accent is the black colored border around the shoe. The fancy black belt strap and buckle is one of the highlights of the shoe. The belt is threaded through real braces and ends with a brass colored buckle. The tongue ends with a Ubiq label with a narrow strip of red color. The inner sole has a futuristic type of designed picture. It looks interesting.

The shoes come in a very unique case. It is made from wood and lasts forever. This box can be kept as a souvenir and used to hold other precious mementos. The top of the case is bare except for the brand name Ubiq. When you turn it over, the bottom face is filled with a great looking graphic done in just one color – black. The picture is very complicated and beautiful. The shoes and packaging are very nice.
