If you are a fan of the Y-3 label, check out the Honja Low and Hi sneakers from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. In this collection, Y-3 uses a variety of materials on the uppers include canvas, suede, patent leather and smooth leather. While some of the colorways are eye-catching, many other are rather simple and subtle. It’s the details and the quality of these shoes can’t be denied.

The one low shoe in this collection that stands out from the others features the zebra stripes pictured above. The Honja Hi are a whole other story. you can choose from a white and red checked colorway, a nice black wrinkled patent leather version or a white colorway with lots of perforated details. Y-3 Honja Low

Last year the Y-3 Honja Hi garnered some attention and now here is a low-top edition. These simple makeups feature an all black grained leather upper, coated and perforated stripes, white midsole, and orange embroidered logos on the tongue and heel.

In coming weeks, look for both an orange and white version to be available. You can get these sneakers now from Y-3 for $240 a pair. Via Complex.

The Y-3 Field Medalist is a terrific sneaker if you want to garner some attention without the use of bright colors or anything crazy on your feet. This silver metallic version is set to hit the shelves in September, in addition to a bronze colorway.
